Young girl grazed by bullet in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are investigating a shooting in D.C. after a juvenile female was struck by a bullet.

Police say the shooting happened in the 2700 block of Langston Place, Southeast Thursday around 9:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the area and found the girl with a gunshot wound to her left ankle.

The girl was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police are searching for a vehicle of interest, seen below, in this incident.
