Woman killed in pedestrian collision in Falls Church

FAIRFAX CO. – A woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision in Falls Church, Virginia Monday morning.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was attempted to cross Arlington Boulevard near Graham Road outside a crosswalk around 2 a.m. when she was struck.

The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police do not believe alcohol or speed are factors for the driver.

Investigators have not determined if alcohol was a factor for the pedestrian.

Police say no charges are expected.
