WANTED: Man hits woman with remote, threatens her with knife

PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A man is wanted by police after he allegedly hit a woman with a remote controller and threatened her with a knife.

Officers responded to a home in the 5400 block of Quance Lane in Woodbridge to investigate a domestic assault on Sunday around 6:30 a.m.

A 46-year-old woman reported to police at Oscar Trigo, 47, of Woodbridge, struck her in the face with a remote and then threatened her during an argument.

Trigo fled the residence before officers arrived. Following the investigation, police say they obtained an arrest warrant for Trigo.

Police describe Trigo as a White male, 5’8″, 190 pounds, with black hair and black eyes.

He is charged with attempted malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery.
