Va. man wanted for abducting, assaulting wife and child

FAIRFAX. CO. – Police are looking for a Herndon man who, police say, abducted and assaulted his wife and child in Chantilly Sunday.

Police say they need your help finding Osman Osman, 37, who is wanted for two counts of abduction and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Detectives believe Osman traveled to New York City after the incident, but do not know where he currently is.

Osman is also wanted for two counts of assault on a family member, a protective order violation and transporting a firearm while subject to a protective order, police say.

Police describe Osman as being 5’11”, about 200 pounds, having brown hair and blue eyes. If you see Osman, immediately call 911 and do not approach him, as police say he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
