UPDATE: Video released in DC shooting in Northeast that leaves 1 dead, 3 injured

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch seek the public's assistance in identifying two persons and a vehicle of interest in reference to a fatal shooting that occurred in the 3400 block of 18th Street, Northeast, on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

At approximately 7:40 pm, Fifth District officers responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim sustained life threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.  The other three victims sought treatment at area hospitals for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The decedent has been identified as 29-year-old Jarvis Belle, of Northeast, DC.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Metropolitan Police say they are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured three others.

Police say they were called to the 3400 block of 18th Street Northeast around 7:42 p.m., which is in the area of the Exxon gas station.

One man was found unresponsive and three others were taken to the hospital.

The condition of the three other men is unknown at this time.

Police say they are searching for a dark colored sedan.

The investigation is on-going.
