Police: Two suspects in custody after fleeing traffic stop

UPDATE: Arlington County Police say they now have the two suspects in custody. They are in the process of reopening Army Navy Drive.


ARLINGTON, Va. – Arlington County Police say they are searching for two suspects who fled from a traffic stop early Monday morning.

According to officials, police attempted a traffic stop on Army Navy Drive near Fern Street and Edna Street. Both of the occupants got out of the car and fled on food. Police say they are searching the area for two black males. Officials also report that a helicopter is assisting in the search.

At this time, there are no further descriptions of the suspects. Police ask that if you see sometime suspicious in the area call them at 703-558-2222.
