PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. -- A fun loving father of four who got along with everyone is how Christina Lombre says her father, 55-year-old Adriano Lombre will be remembered after he was gunned down on I-495 Northbound and Pennsylvania Avenue Saturday night.

"He was an energetic person. Like he was always friendly, friendly to the neighbors, friendly to his family.", recalls Christina of her father, "You know, he had a good heart and he would always do stuff for you even if he didn’t know you that well.”

She said that Lombre had just hosted a card party at his house and was coming back from dropping a friend off at home when he was killed.

Christina said, "He was actually on the phone, like 15 minutes prior talking to my cousin saying that he was 15 minutes away. And, I guess he was at a light and somebody came up trying to take his car and he wouldn’t let them and they shot him.”

According to Prince George's County Police, an officer saw Lombre's car on the outer loop of the Beltway at Pennsylvania Avenue just before midnight Saturday.
Lombre was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, his family wants justice.

Christina said, "I just want the person who did it to at least speak up or turn their-self in. Or if anybody knows anything, to call the number that’s been provided, you know I just want justice.”

Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact Crime Solvers or the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit.
