Md. teens charged with lighting Porta Potty on fire

CAROLINE CO. – Two teens are charged with lighting a Porta Potty on fire.

Fire Marshals were requested to investigate the remains of an unknown burned item in Caroline County Wednesday just before 4 a.m. The incident happened in the 100 block of Walnut Street in Lister Estates.

Investigators determined the burnt item was a plastic portable toilet valued at $700. They say the Porta Potty was intentionally set on fire.

The investigation shows a 15-year-old and 16-year-old are responsible for the fire along with other damages to property in the area.

The teens are charged with arson and other related charges.
