PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A man is behind bars after, police say, he removed peepholes to multiple occupied rooms at a hotel in Manassas.

32-year-old Miles Payne, of Arizona, is accused of damaging several doors at the Wyndham Garden hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane.

Hotel employees told police that Payne removed the peepholes on several doors to rooms in which people were staying.

Police say officers responded to the hotel Saturday around 3:20 a.m. and found Payne in an occupied room on the fourth floor that he broke in to.

The investigation shows Payne was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of arrest.

Police arrested Payne and charged him with three counts of peeping into a dwelling, two counts of unlawful entry, and one count of destruction of property.
