Help Wanted: Job opportunities across the DMV

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Are you former military, looking to transition to a civilian job in the D.C. metro area?  We have the latest job fairs and openings from across the DMV.

On November 3, two major veteran service organizations are teaming up to invite anyone who has served on active duty in the National Guard or Army Reserves to come and find a new career. This event is also open to military spouses. It will take place at Fed-Ex Field in Maryland at 11 a.m.

Companies participating include: Lockheed Martin, Intel Corporation, Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Leidos, The Home Depot – Supply Chain, Medtronic, and many more. Joint Base Andrews is hosting a fair on the same day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will focus on transitioning military skills to the civilian sector. Participating companies includes: CWC Technologies, L-3 Communications, Maines Paper & Food Service, Maryland Dept. of Public Safety & Corr. Services, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Bravo Consulting Group, Profish, US CBP/DHS, Warrior Scholar-Project, PenFed Virtual, and more.

You should bring a copy of your resume and dress professionally. You will need military ID or a CAC card to enter the base. More information and how to register can be found here.
