Frederick sheriff’s office seizes $13,000 of heroin

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. — After receiving tips about drug distribution in the area, deputies discovered an apartment where heroin distribution was taking place and ultimately found 87 grams of heroin.

The 87 grams total to an estimated street value of $13,050. More than $800 was also seized during the execution of the search warrant. The search took place around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Clarence Thieverage, 24, was found inside the apartment and arrested with possession and intent to distribute.

Police had also received tips about an October 28 shooting in the area, but their investigation of Thieverage’s apartment was unrelated.
