PRINCE GEORGE’S CO. – A 116-year-old house is heavily damaged and a man is injured after a fire broke out early Sunday morning, fire officials say.

The house caught on fire around 1 a.m. at the 18300 block of Queen Ann Road in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire on both floors of the house.

An adult male occupant was transported to the hospital with smoke and burn injuries, but officials say they appear to be non-life threatening.

Damages are estimated at $130,000. Fire officials say there were no smoke alarms and the cause is undetermined.
