2 prisoners captured after escaping D.C. hospital

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two prisoners have been captured after, police say, they escaped a Southeast hospital Thursday.

Officials say 29-year-old Christopher Taylor was wanted by Montgomery County Police for a robbery.

49-year-old Eric Rucker was wanted by the US Marshals Service for a parole violation, according to authorities.

Both men escaped the secure area of a hospital at the 1300 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast where they were being treated.

Police say both men were captures less than a day after they escaped.
