11 displaced in D.C. apartment fire

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Eleven people are without a home after a D.C. apartment caught fire Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to an apartment building at the 1300 block of North Capital Street, NW before midnight for heavy visible fire on the roof decks of two 4-story row homes.

No injuries were reported, but six adults and five children are now displaced.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
