DCW50   joined Alexandria VA-based nonprofit, WE WILL SURVIVE CANCER, in its annual program benefiting families impacted by the cancer diagnosis and treatment of one of its members. Founded in 2009, WE WILL SURVIVE CANCER recognizes that supporting a cancer patient’s family brings comfort and joy to all.

As part of 2018 Making Spirits Bright, DCW50 will fulfill the Christmas wish-list for a Greater Washington family of 5, one of more than 128 families receiving such support this year. Participating families are identified through a variety of treatment providers, including Life with Cancer, Virginia Oncology, USO/Walter Reade Military Hospital, and the National Breast Cancer Center.
