    WASHINGTON, DC — This excessive humidity will continue through Wednesday. A cold front to the west will move in later Wednesday and change the pattern for a few days. More sunshine will start to appear starting Thursday. Our rain chances will decrease for a few days, then spike again on Sunday.

    WASHINGTON, DC — A cold front moving through the area will bring slightly cooler and a bit more comfortable air for Thursday and Friday. It won’t be too dramatic of a change. Humidity will increase over the weekend and temperatures will creep back into the lower 90s. Storm chances remain low until the middle part of next week.

    WASHINGTON DC — This week will feature very few extremes temperature wise. The average is now 89 degrees, we will see numbers slightly above,or slight below that for the remainder of the work week. Rain chances will pick up a bit as we get into the upcoming weekend.

This recent wet pattern will start to wrap up this weekend as temperatures return to the upper 80s. Drier air will start to move in early next week. There will be a few storm chances by midweek.

  • Storms head into the DMV for the weekend

    WASHINGTON, DC — Heat and humidity will continue to increase as we slide into the weekend. A cold front will trigger showers and storms by Saturday afternoon and overnight into Sunday morning. Sunday will be cooler with a few remaining showers through the day. Rain chances will be with us Monday & Tuesday, although the chance will be a bit lower.

  • Cool and comfortable in the DMV; storms return Saturday

    WASHINGTON, DC — Open the windows tonight! With this nice dry air mass in place, temperatures will fall into the lower 60s here in town, and the mid and upper 50s in outlying areas. This is a real treat for this time of year. Sunshine will be back for Friday with a high near 87. The storm chance returns by Saturday afternoon.

    WASHINGTON, DC — It’s looking like our best day to get out and mow the lawn will be Friday or Saturday. Even though Thursday is going to be sunny, it might be good to take that day to let more drying take place. There will be a few showers or storms around late Saturday, with better chances Sunday afternoon through Tuesday.
