Tanks have Arrived for Trump’s July 4th Celebration

In preparation of President Trump’s  Fourth of July Celebration taking place in Washington, D.C., military tanks arrived on the National Mall Tuesday night, into Wednesday morning. America is celebrating its 243rd birthday with a large Independence Day show put on by the Trump Administration, which will feature a National Independence Day Parade, Salute to America Trump Speech at the Lincoln Memorial, A Capitol Fourth Concert, and a Fireworks Display.

According to Trump, it will be “one of the biggest gatherings in the history of Washington, D.C.”

The parade will kick off the event at 11:45 a.m. with marching down Constitution Avenue NW from 7th Street to 17th Street.  The parade will feature American Military personnel, giant balloons, marching bands, and drum corps.  The parade is expected to end at 2 p.m.

Trump’s “Salute to America” will honor armed forces with music, military demonstrations, flyovers, tanks, and a speech at the Lincoln Memorial from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The Capitol Fourth Concert will take place on the West Lawn at the U.S. Capital starting at 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. staring Grammy Award-winning Carole King, multi-platinum recording artist Vanessa Williams, and more.

The Fireworks Display will end the celebration over the National Mall.  The fireworks will be launched from West Potomac Park and behind the Lincoln Memorial; they will be visible from locations throughout DC and Northern Virginia.
