Riverdale’s Luke Perry Dies at 52

The “Riverdale” and “Beverly Hills, 90210” star and acting icon Luke Perry Died this morning following a massive stroke.

TMZ reported that after the stroke, suffered last Wednesday, the doctors sedated him hoping to give his brain a fighting chance. His representative informed them that he was surrounded by his family and friends when he passed.

After rising to stardom through “Beverly Hills, 90210,” Luke had a full and prolific career. Lending his talents to 65 individual projects since the turn of the century. He most recently blessed us as Archie’s Dad in The CW’s “Riverdale.” He also acted a leading roll in Quentin Tarantino’s dramatic comedy “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which is currently in post production. Both on the screen and in the voice booth, Luke brought a strong and seasoned mind to each project he was a part of.

Luke’s Rep stated, “The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world.”

His impact on and presence within the industry will always be felt.
