Hamilton entertains, educates DC-area high schoolers

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Before the production of Hamilton drew its final curtain at the Kennedy Center cast and crew used two of their final days in Washington D.C. to help dozens of high schoolers.

The Hamilton Education Program turns the production into an education tool, challenging around 60 students to use the material as a jumping off point to create their own original content.

That material was performed before a crowd of around 2,000 students on the same stage they later watched the production on a few hours later.
