Police searching for D.C. gas station carjacking suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are searching for suspects in a carjacking at a D.C. gas station.

Police say the suspects drove into a gas station parking lot in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast on Sunday around 5:40 p.m.

While a woman was filling up her vehicle with gas, a suspect exited from another vehicle and got into the victim’s vehicle. Once inside, the two suspects fled the scene in the two vehicles.

The victim’s vehicle has been recovered.

Police released surveillance video of the incident Friday. If you recognize the suspects or vehicle, you’re asked to call police at 202-727-9099.
