Falls Church police officer charged with crimes against children

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The City of Falls Church has been advised by the Federal Bureau of Investigations that a City Police officer was arrested on Sept. 12 for ten counts involving internet crimes against children. Robert MacSeain, 29, of Fairfax, Virginia is suspended pending an internal investigation.

All his police authority, equipment, and access have been revoked. The City of Falls Church Police Department is cooperating with the FBI’s ongoing investigation.

MacSeain was hired as a dispatcher for the City Police in 2011. He was sworn in as an officer in January 2017 and has worked the midnight shift since then.
