FAUQUIER CO. – A man has been arrested for the murder of his sister after police found her dead in a swimming pool in Fauquier County.

On Saturday, police say they received a call about a woman who was unconscious in a pool. When officers arrived to the home in the 6700 block of Riley Road, they found 53-year-old Angie Walls, of Warrenton, dead on the rear deck in an inflatable pool.

The investigation shows that Walls was in a fight earlier that day with her brother, 51-year-old Ashton Berry, also of Warrenton. Another household member called police after finding Walls in the pool. Police say Walls and Berry both lived at the residence where the incident occurred.

Berry was arrested and charged with first degree murder. The investigation continues.
