4 men shot in D.C. within 4 hours

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are investigating three separate shootings in D.C. that left four men injured within four hours starting Monday night.

The first man was shot around 9:25 p.m. near the intersection of 17th and E Street in Northeast. Upon arrival, police found the man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Then, shortly after 11 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Valley Avenue and Wheeler Avenue in Southeast. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The last shooting happened around 1:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Barnaby Terrace in Southeast. Upon arrival, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital and are also expected to survive.

Police have not identified a suspect in any of these incidents. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 202-727-9099.
