Suspects, vehicle sought in D.C. homicide

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are searching for two persons of interest and a vehicle in a D.C. homicide that happened earlier this month.

On Thursday, police released surveillance video of two suspects along with a vehicle of interest in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred August 8 in the 4400 block of Livingston Road, Southeast.

Police responded to the location around 12:30 a.m. for the sound of gunshots. Moments later, officers were called to a hospital for a man seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

That man was later pronounced dead.

Police identified the victim as 44-year-old Denard Hartwell, of Northeast.
