UPDATE: Man seriously injured White Oak apartment shooting

Update:

Montgomery County Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Seth Greenidge, 33, who they believe is responsible for the shooting of a 39-year-old male in a White Oak residence that happened on Friday. They are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Greenidge has been charged via a Montgomery County arrest warrant with attempted first-degree murder.  Greenidge is believed to be homeless but is known to frequent the White Oak area of the County and also Washington, D.C.

An earlier investigation of this shooting revealed that Greenidge and the victim knew each other.

The victim was transported with serious injuries.  He is expected to survive.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Greenidge is asked to immediately call the Montgomery County Police Department at 301-279-8000.  Callers may remain anonymous.

MONTGOMERY CO. – Police are investigating a shooting that happened inside a White Oak apartment.

Police say a man was seriously injured after he was shot inside a residence in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive. Officers got the call around 5:33 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Police say the suspect and victim know each other.
