Montgomery Co. Police looking for missing teen from Rwanda

MONTGOMERY CO. – Police are searching for a 17-year-old boy from Rwanda missing in Montgomery County.

Jackson Nzarubara is visiting the D.C. area with a student group and was last seen by chaperones on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. at the National 4-H Conference Center located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase.

Nzarubara is described as a Black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.  Nzarubara was last seen wearing a black head band, a hoodie with a Mickey Mouse graphic on the front, gray Adidas pants, white tennis shoes, and a black jacket with gray lines on the sleeves and gray lettering on the front.   Nzarubara may also be carrying a black suitcase and a red backpack.

Police say Nzarubara is unfamiliar with the area.
