Woman seriously injured after struck by Metrobus

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A woman is seriously hurt after she was struck by a Metro bus Wednesday.

Rescue officials say the collision happened at Broad Branch Road and McKinley Street, Northwest.

The woman became trapped under the bus, and rescue personnel were able to remove her.

She was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, officials say.
