D.C. Police are looking for help in an assault case

WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an assault case.

The incident occurred around 2:30 Friday afternoon in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. The suspect in question approached the victim, assaulted them with an unknown object, and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with any information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or send a text  to 50411. The Crime solvers of Washington, D.C. is currently offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect or suspects responsible for the crime.
