David Duke “confirmed speaker” at D.C. Unite the Right rally

WASHINGTON, D.C. – New details have been shared about this weekend’s Unite the Right rally in D.C.

The National Park Service released documents containing information about confirmed speakers at the event. One of those speakers is former Grand Wizard of the KKK, David Duke.

In an email sent to NPS officials from organizer Jason Kessler, he says Patrick Little, Simon Roche, Kevin Cormier, Avi Horton, Corey Mahler and Tom Kawcyznki will also be speaking.

However, Richmond.com reports that Little, a former anti-Semitic California Senate candidate, says he will not attending. They also report that Kawcyznki, a former manager of a town in Maine who has said races should be separate, says he is not going to be in attendance.

NPS approved Kessler’s application, who was behind the deadly Charlottesville rally last year, back in June. The event is slated to be a two day rally starting August 11 at 8 a.m. and ending August 12 at 8 p.m. Counter protests are also planned during the same time.
