STAFFORD CO. – A man has been arrested for stabbing his younger brother at his Stafford County home, deputies say.

Officers responded to a residence on Clint Lane at the southern end of the county around 5:51 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, deputies say they found 18-year-old Latonio Curmon unresponsive and lying on his back in a pool of blood. There was stab wound on the left side of his torso and was bleeding heavily.

Deputies say Curmon was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office identified Latonio’s cousin, Miequan Curmon, as the suspect. Miequan fled the scene after the stabbing. He was found about three hours later in the area of Cool Springs Road and Kings Highway.

Miequan Curmon was arrested and charged with second degree murder, deputies say.
