Chance of storms will continue until late tonight

WASHINGTON, DC — Storms will most likely develop west of D.C. this evening, these areas west of town are in an area identified as a Slight Risk.

The Slight Risk area is more favorable more severe weather. Storms could produce gusty winds along with very heavy rainfall and could possibly migrate eastward toward I-95.

The Marginal Risk area has a lower chance for severe weather.
