PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A man is behind bars after, police say, he is accused of sexually assaulting a woman who was asleep in her apartment in Woodbridge.

Police say they initially responded to an apartment building in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive around 7:45 a.m. after the suspect, 54-year-old Dwayne Robinson, claimed he was physically assaulted by two men while standing outside the building.

Officers determined that Robinson was intoxicated after he became uncooperative with police.

Shortly after, police say two women approached the officers and said Robinson sexually assaulted one of them.

Investigators say Robinson sexually assaulted one of the women in an apartment they were both staying at while she was sleeping.

Police say the second woman caught Robinson and told him to leave the apartment.

Robin was arrested and charged with object sexual penetration, sodomy and public intoxication.
