PRINCE GEORGE’S CO. – Two men have been arrested for allegedly robbing, then murdering an acquaintance in Fort Washington, Maryland on Sunday.

Police say they responded to the 7200 block of Shockley Court around 7:30 p.m. for the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police say officers found 22-year-old Giovanni Little suffering from gunshot wounds outside his home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation shows that 25-year-old Irving Silva of Northwest, D.C., and 17-year-old Jelani Edwards of Brentwood, robbed Little before shooting him. The suspects and Little knew each other.

Police say they were able to locate Silva and Edwards within minutes of the shooting not too far from the scene. They were arrested.

Both Silva and Edwards are charged with first and second-degree murder. Police say Edwards is charged as an adult. They are being held without bond.
