Funeral arrangements announced for fallen Howard Co. firefighter

HOWARD CO. – Celebration of life services have been announced for a Howard County firefighter who died Monday while battling a fire.

34-year-old Nathan Flynn is the first Howard County Fire Department firefighter to die in the line of duty. He was battling a house fire in Clarksville when he fell through a burning floor and died of his injuries.

The Howard County Fire Department announced Flynn’s arrangements Tuesday.

The viewing will be Friday, July 27 from 12 to 8 p.m.

The memorial service will be Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m.

Both will be held at Mountain Christian Church at 1824 Mountain Road in Joppa, Maryland.
