Baltimore police looking for help in two different shooting cases

BALTIMORE, MD. – Around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon, police were dispatched to the 500 block of Old Town Mall to investigate a reported shooting.

Responding officers located a 28 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics were summoned and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are now in control of the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives, at 410-396-2100.

Police also need  the public’s help in another shooting that also occurred Saturday afternoon. Police were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to the intersection of Catherine Street and Wilkens Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Responding officers located a 31 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

Medics were summoned and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Citywide Shooting Detectives have now taken control of the investigation.
