WASHINGTON, DC — It will be dry tonight, but a coastal storm will track just close enough to the area to bring periods of rain on Saturday. The clouds and rainfall will hold temperatures in the 70s.

That storm will exit, but a new storm approaching from the west will bring some thunderstorms on Sunday. The best chance of rain will be from mid-afternoon into the evening. HIghs will be in the lower 80s.

Muggy conditions will last over the weekend, which will allow the storms to produce heavy rainfall.
