MPD Seek Suspects in Murder of 10-year-old girl

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and finding four suspects and a vehicle related to a murder of a 10-year-old girl that happened on Monday.

Makiyah Wilson, 10, of Northeast D.C. was shot and killed in the 300 block of 53rd St. NE.

In the video, a black Infiniti sedan missing its rear bumper can be seen pulling into the parking lot of a housing complex. Four people then get out of the car and begin firing for several seconds before getting back in the car and taking off.

Police said four others, a woman and three men, were also injured in the shooting. Police could not say if any of the victims were the intended target.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information on this case that leads to an arrest and conviction. People can either call 202-727-9099 or send a text message to 50411.
