CHARLES CO. – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is offering a cash reward to anyone who can offer information that leads to the arrest of a bank robbery suspect.

Deputies say the robbery happened Thursday at the BB&T Bank at 10660 Stanhaven Place in White Plains, Maryland.

The investigation shows the suspect entered the bank around 10:15 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money and implied he had a weapon.

Deputies say the teller gave him the money and the suspect fled. No injuries were reported.

Detectives believe the suspect in this case is the same man who attempted to rob another bank in early June and other businesses in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 301-609-6436.
