PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A man is now behind bars after, police say, he solicited sex acts and inappropriate pictures from minors online.

An undercover detective started an investigation into an online advertisement posted by 45-year-old Michael Riggleman, of Mount Savage, Maryland. The advertisement was soliciting for sexual acts and pictures.

During the investigation, the detective posed as an underage female and contacted Riggleman electronically over the course of several days.

While communicating, police say Riggleman sent and requested inappropriate photos. Riggleman also asked to meet to engage in sexual acts and arrange a time to meet the undercover cop in public in Manassas on Tuesday.

Once there, police say they arrested Riggleman. He is charged with production of child pornography under the age of 15, attempted indecent liberties with children, and using a communication device to facilitate certain offenses involving children under the age of 15.

He is being held without bond.
