Cars damaged after suspects throw giant chess pieces from roof

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Four suspects threw giant chess pieces off the roof of a D.C. apartment building damaging cars, police say.

Police say the incident happened Monday night at Senate Square apartments located at 2nd Street and I Street, NE.

The chess pieces were thrown off the top of the 11-story building and damaged three vehicles.

Police have not reported any arrests or charges in this case yet.
