ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Annapolis will hold a benefit concert to honor the five victims killed in a shooting at the Capital Gazette newsroom last month.

The concert, headlined by Good Charlotte, will take place July 28, a month after the deadly attack.

Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley announced the event will be called “Annapolis Rising: A Benefit for The Capital Gazette and Free Press.”

Officials say special guests from the journalism community will speak at the concert too.

Information on tickets will be released in the coming days.
