Police searching for stolen vehicle with dog inside

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are searching for a stolen vehicle that may have a dog, named Bella, inside.

The vehicle and Bella, a four-month old Pit Bull, were stolen from her home at the 1100 block of West Virginia Avenue, Northeast on Thursday.

Police say the suspect broke into the residence between midnight and 6:30 a.m.

Once inside, police say the suspect took the victim’s keys and Bella and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a 2016 Toyota 4 Runner, dark gray in color, with DC tags FD-7799.
