1 seriously injured after car plows into 7-Eleven

WASHINGTON, D.C. – One person was injured after a car drove into a 7-Eleven Tuesday morning in D.C.

Fire officials say the car crashed into the building at the 900 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast around 12:30 a.m.

An individual who was inside the store was trapped and rescue crew had to extricate the person.

Officials say that victim suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the car was not injured.
