PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A man was arrested after, police say, he ran over a woman’s leg following a minor car accident in Manassas.

60-year-old Robert Warren, of La Plata, Maryland, was driving a Ford F150 truck when he got involved in a minor accident with a Toyota Scion, driven by a 22-year-old woman, police say. The accident happened at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Hastings Drive on June 13 around 6:05 p.m.

After an exchange of words, police say Warren punched the 22-year-old in the face.

Warren got back into his vehicle and the woman followed him.

At some point, police say Warren placed his truck into drive, knocking the woman onto the ground. Warren proceeded to run over the woman’s leg.

The woman was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they arrested Warren and charged him with malicious wounding, assault and battery, and hit and run.
