3 arrested in human trafficking, prostitution offenses
MONTGOMERY CO. – Police arrested and charged three suspects with human trafficking and prostitution offenses Tuesday.
Police say they became aware of possible prostitution and human trafficking happening at four massage parlors in Montgomery County in December of last year.
Detectives identified and located the following massage parlors which, investigators say, are operated by Hong Wang, Xiaoxia Lin, and Hanfeng Zhang:
- two parlors at 966 Hungerford Drive
- one parlor at 7246 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood
- 28 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg
During the investigation, police say they became aware of two Asian females from New York who were being housed in an apartment at the 800 block of Clopper Road in Gaithersburg.
Detectives saw Lin, 42, of Germantown, drive the women to the four massage parlors to work. Police say detectives learned that those women would often provide sexual services to male customers.
Lin, Wang, 56, of Germantown, and Zhang, 55, also of Germantown, were arrested and charged Tuesday.
Police say Lin, Wang, and Zhang may have engaged in the human trafficking of additional victims.
The investigation continues.
