DCW50 follows Capitals fans to Las Vegas ahead of Stanley Cup Final game 5

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- With the Washington Capital on the verge of closing out the Las Vegas Golden Knights and winning the first Stanley Cup in franchise history DCW50 make the trek to Sin City to find Caps fans ready to celebrate should the Caps win Thursday night.

We ran into Potomac native Chad Prince who shared with us the video from above and told us he made the decision to come to Las Vegas from San Diego ahead of game 2.

He's still around for game 5 and waiting to see his favorite team hoist the Stanley Cup before his eyes.

"My friends in Maryland I know they'd like to see it happen there but I want to see them get this done," said Prince.

The Capitals hold a 3-1 series edge over Las Vegas after dropping the first game in the series then winning three straight.
