Police searching for suspect who robbed, kidnapped victims

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are searching for a suspect who, police say, robbed victims at gunpoint, kidnapped them, took them to an ATM, and demanded more money from them.

The suspect, described by police as a Black male in his 20-30’s, approached the victims at the 200 block of 11th Street, Southeast Sunday just before midnight.

Police say the man threatened the victims with a handgun and demanded money. The victims complied, and then the man forced the victims into his vehicle.

The man took the victims to an ATM where, police say, he forced them to withdraw more cash. The suspect then released the victims and fled the scene.

Police say the man was possibly driving a black Audi, is 5’10”-5’11” and was dressed in a black sweatshirt and dark pants.
