Police searching for 2 men in Germantown home invasion robbery

MONTGOMERY CO. – Police are searching for two men who, they say, broke into a victim’s home, fired gunshots, and stole property.

Police say the robbery happened just after midnight Tuesday at a home in the 13600 block of Demetrias Way in Germantown.

Detectives say two men broke into an occupied home. One of the men was armed. Police say a woman inside the home heard gunshots and went to investigate.

The woman was then confronted by the two men who threatened her with a gun and demanded cash. Police say the men stole property from the home and fled.

Police say several shots were fired inside the home. Investigators found shots that penetrated a wall and entered the neighboring home. No injuries were reported.

The suspect with the gun is described by police as an African-American male in his 30’s and approximately 6’1″.

Police describe the second suspect as an African-American male between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5’9″, and weighs around 250 pounds.
