HOWARD CO. – A volleyball coach is behind bars after police say he sexually abused a minor at a sports center and made her take nude photos.

Marc Stephen Moore, Jr., 46, of Upper Marlboro, is charged with sex abuse of a minor and other related charges after a 16-year-old girl told police about inappropriate encounters she had with Moore, police say.

The girl told police Moore touched her inappropriately in a private room at the Maryland Junior Sports Center in Jessup when she was 15.

Police say the victim also reported being made to take nude photos that Moore kept in his possession. The girl told police that similar acts took place at a home in Anne Arundel County as well.

After investigating, both Howard and Anne Arundel County Police Departments charged Moore with several child sex abuse related charges.

Police say they arrested Moore Tuesday morning.
