UPDATE: 3 killed in Fairfax Co. house fire identified

FAIRFAX CO. – Three people died, and one other was injured in a Fairfax County house fire Tuesday.

The three victims who died in the fire were identified Thursday by fire officials as Robert Edmanson Sr., 63, Sandralee Edmanson, 61, and Christina Minton, 56.

Firefighters responded to the single-family house fire around 2 a.m. at the 11400 block of Popes Head Road.

Fire officials say the one-story house was consumed with flames on all four sides.

While battling the fire, officials say firefighters located one woman and one man who were deceased. Another victim was in critical condition and later died of those injuries.

Another person is suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Officials say the victim was taken to a hospital.
